What Our Gym Offers

 

Group Fitness

Our program combines multiple different modes of training and is designed to make you the fittest you can be inside and outside of the gym. Our specialty is not specializing. In this 1-hour group class we could be working on gymnastics, aerobic endurance, powerlifting, and much more. The result is a complete gym experience and skill development across all areas of fitness.

 

Nutrition

Your goals are our goals and we’re always looking for new ways to help you reach the results you’re after — whether you’re looking to perform better in your workout or simply live a healthier lifestyle. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Working Against Gravity (WAG) to offer one-on-one nutrition coaching from our own coach and Registered Dietician, Claire Igoe! We’ve harnessed WAG’s powerful web-app, Seismic, to arm you with the tools you need to transform your life by way of wholesome, fuel-focused nutrition. With this program, you’ll experience the benefits of one-on-one nutrition coaching. It’s an investment in your health — one that buys the kind of earned results you’ve been working for.

 

Personal Training

Not everyone is looking for a group training atmosphere, and some have more specific goals, like endurance training, prepping for a military selection process, or just looking to shed a few pounds and look better for beach season. If this describes you, we offer personal training sessions to find a program tailored to your specific needs while working with a coach 1-on-1. As a personal training client, you’ll receive an opening assessment to find out your strengths, weaknesses, goals, competition plans as well as any other important information we need to know about you. You’ll receive programming designed around your goals and abilities, while we continuously evaluate your performance and make necessary changes as guided by you and your progress.

 

Athletic Training

To be successful in any sport, athletes need to develop and maintain their fitness off the field/court. At Black Box, we are dedicated to off-season strength and conditioning for sport specific athletes. Let us design a workout program for you or your athlete that addresses the demands of the sport/position to set up for success while minimizing risk for injury.

 

Olympic Lifting

Our USA Weightlifting Certified Coaches help improve your athleticism for sport, prep for competition, or increase strength, speed and power to benefit overall health while having a blast. At Black Box Barbell our Olympic Lifting Coaches have years of experience coaching and competing, even before the program spawned out of Black Box in 2013. Our dedication to analysis and flexibility within our programming is exactly what every weightlifter needs in a program that will ensure their long-term success.

 

Online Training

We know that a busy schedule can make it difficult to get to the gym at times. Let us help you find a routine that you can follow in the convenience of your own home. Through our online training options, you can follow the same programming offered in our group classes, modified and tailored to your needs and the equipment you have available. You’ll have daily workouts sent to you directly based on your schedule, and weekly virtual check-ins with a coach to review your progress. Have a specific goal in mind?
